Each 90-minute session will include:
- A detailed presentation on the scope of the field of work
- The skills & tools that are useful to have when starting out
- The educational qualifications needed
- Recommendations for Institutes & Universities offering relevant courses (both in India and abroad), and
- Insights into the pros & cons of choosing this as a career
In the Q&A round, students & parents can ask more specific questions,whether on entry-level salaries or on the process of applying for higher studies.
Who are we?
Journeys With Meaning is an award-winning organization (Gold Award winner in the Indian Responsible Tourism Awards 2019) operating from Goa. Since 2007, Journeys with Meaning has been introducing people to alternative careers.
From our interactions with parents and students over the years, we’ve learned that mainstream education still ignores these emerging careers as viable future options.
Our Emerging Careers series is an initiative to bridge the gap in knowledge and provide a realistic picture of how viable these emerging careers are, while also motivating young learners to pursue their passions and interests!

What is the registration fee?
If you register by September 2nd, the registration fee per session is 800 INR (+ 5% GST). After September 2nd, the per session cost will be 1000 INR (+ 5% GST). There are 6 sessions to choose from and you can register for all 6 sessions if you want to.
For people registering after September 2nd, the fee per session is 1000 INR (+ 5% GST). If you register for multiple sessions, it is 800 INR (+ 5% GST) per session.
Is there an offer on the price?
Yes. We offer a 20% discount on early registrations and on registering for more than 1 session. Please see the details above.
Can I cancel my registration after paying for it?
Yes, you can. Write to us at info@journeyswithmeaning.org and tell us why you’re cancelling. We will then initiate the refund under the following T&C.
T&C:
– If your cancellation happens 7 days or more before the session date, the cancellation fee is 25%. This will be deducted from the total amount and the balance will be refunded to you.
– However, If you cancel within 7 days of the session date, the session fee is non-refundable. You can, however, transfer the session fee towards another session that interests you.
How can I make the payment?
Please pay by clicking on the REGISTER button which will take you to our Instamojo payment portal. Once there, please select the sessions that you want to attend and add them to the cart. On checkout, add the Code EC20 to get your 20% discount on the session price.
What happens if a session gets rescheduled?
Although unlikely to happen, in the event that one of our resource people has to reschedule, we will send you an email and WhatsApp message in advance informing you of the change in date.
